Shrine Locations Far Cry 5 Complete Shrine Location Guide
In Far Cry 5, dismantling the cult structures established by Eden's Gate is a key method for liberating Hope County and earning Resistance Points. Among these targets are the small monuments known as cult shrines, which spread the mind-altering substance called Bliss across the region. Locating and destroying every shrine allows players to weaken local cult operations while progressing towards total completion.
Understanding Shrine Locations in Faith's Region
The vast majority of shrines in the game are situated within the Henbane River region, controlled by Faith Seed. There are sixteen distinct shrines scattered throughout this district, often placed near riverbends, hilltops, or cult outposts. Tracking down these locations triggers the False Idols side quest, which awards additional funds and Resistance Points upon clearing the area.
Methods for Locating and Tracking Shrines
Finding every shrine on foot can prove challenging due to dense foliage and terrain hazards. Flying low in an attack helicopter provides the most efficient strategy for scouting cult monuments across the map. Additionally, reading hidden notes scattered at various locations will automatically place official map markers for nearby shrines.
Best Tactics for Destroying Cult Shrines
Each shrine features an explosive container filled with Bliss mounted directly on its structure. Targeting this container with heavy weaponry or aerial fire causes the entire monument to detonate instantly. Players can utilize rocket launchers, explosive charges, or helicopter cannons to clear these targets safely from a distance.
Rewards for Clearing Every Shrine Location
Eliminating all shrines in Henbane River grants a substantial boost to regional Resistance Points, accelerating story progression toward confronting Faith Seed. Completing the associated questline also unlocks specific achievements and rewards dedicated players with end-game currency. Clearing these monuments permanently reduces cult presence and Bliss contamination in surrounding zones.
